A letter from the Editor-in-Chief
The first Monday back to work after the holidays is always a sobering time of settling back into your routine. Maybe you’re at your desk (as I am). Or maybe you’re seeing the kids off to school or returning to your writing cave after a long absence. The good news is: 2015 presents each of us with a clean slate. Today I’d like to acknowledge that, and wish you my personal and professional best for a year in which your writing takes flight.
To get you started, my team and I would like to offer you a special subscription rate to The Writer: $20 for one year or $35 for two years. The offer is good for new and existing subscriptions alike, and runs January 5-9, 2015. Our magazine is food for the writer’s soul with monthly tips and how-tos from professional writers and educators, inspiration for writers of all stages, levels and genres, and an underlying belief in the process of “imagine, write, publish.”
Remember what the Queen says to Alice? “I’ve believed in as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” We happen to believe that your writing goals are possible. As the Queen says: It takes practice. Click here to sign up for our special deal (by Friday, Jan. 9) and deepen your belief in what’s possible with your writing. We believe in you.
All of us here at The Writer wish you a happy, healthy, imaginative and successful 2015.
All best,
Alicia Anstead
Editor-in-Chief
