At the recent Oregon Christian Writers' Conference, the members of the book publisher's panel were asked what they saw as upcoming trends. Although most were not willing or able to predict, they did mention:
* Western cowboy books
* Women's friendship
* Heartwarming books
* Higher level of sexuality
One editor admitted that publishing is in an in-between time--no one is sure where it's going.
