CALL FOR WRITERS

Hi Writers,

I wanted to let you know that Jim Bell is still accepting true stories about children and Jesus:  Jesus Talked to Me Today: Stories of Children’s Encounters with God, Angels, and Miracles. A sample would be like the wonderful story I've attached by Dawn Aldrich (which we're using in the Jesus Stories book)

Jim is also interested in seeing samples for Christmas stories involving angels, miracles, and heavenly encounters. You can send any samples you might have on that to this address

And a resource: If you're wanting to expand your skills or make new connections with editors and agents, mark your calendars for Nov. 6-8 and come join us in Kansas City for the Heart of America Christian Writers Network conference (www.HACWN.org). I've attached a brochure (keep an eye on our website for an updated version). If you've submitted a piece to any of the compilations I, or my husband Mark Littleton, have worked on, you can have a $25 discount as our appreciation. Just mark "compilation discount" on the form and mark which compilation. We also have discounts for people in full-time ministry and a senior discount.

As always, if your story seems to fit the theme and Jim chooses to use it, we do request a signed contract and pay you (the details are in the attached letter).
